For the synthetic English-first traveller with knee pain, request 12 October 2026 only if that is the actual travel date. The English 08:00 listing gives Exit C, a 15:00 return from the scenic area and roughly 16:30 back near Dongzhimen; the dated confirmation controls.

Pay for each item once
The English package includes Wall admission and the scenic shuttle, but excludes the cable car. Its lunch variant adds lunch. The Chinese CNY 80 product is a different package with Chinese service and separate admission. If your confirmed transport excludes admission, use the linked official ticket centre and read the selected date, ID, ticket inclusions and refund conditions before paying. A scenic ticket alone does not book the Beijing bus.
Know which seller handles the refund
For a MuBus package, ask MuBus about cancellation, unused inclusions and no-show charges. Its public no-deposit statement does not establish those terms. For tickets bought separately from the scenic area's English site, the official refund guide describes email-code login and the Refund action in the order. It does not establish a free-refund cutoff for every ticket; retain the purchased ticket's actual rules. The login and refund were not tested.
What to do when the default plan breaks
No confirmation, wrong exit or absent bus
Use the operator email above before travel. If no confirmed date, meeting pin, return and day-of contact arrive by the evening before, move the Wall day or arrange a written licensed-car round trip. At pickup, contact the supplier on your confirmation and remain at the agreed public meeting point; do not board an unmarked substitute that cannot match your order.
Cable car closes before you go up
Do not climb the stairs instead. Ask staff about a ground-level visit or leave the ascent for another day, then contact the ticket seller about the actual closure/refund terms. Keep the agreed bus return.
Cable car stops after you are on the Wall
Stay at or return only as safely possible to the staffed cable-car station. Tell staff you cannot safely descend stairs; ask them to assess the safe next action and available assistance. Contact the bus guide about the delay. Do not start a stair descent to meet a bus deadline; no rescue service or step-free evacuation is guaranteed here.
You miss the group return
Contact the operator immediately and remain in the staffed visitor area. Ask staff to help arrange a licensed taxi or confirmed car to your full Beijing destination, agreeing the fare and route before boarding.
