Match the 105 minutes to the airport's five branches

The airport publishes these as comprehensive normal-service standards and says airline-specific transfer times prevail. They are not promises that a delayed aircraft, bus gate, queue or distant gate will fit.
If the onward flight remains on schedule, a 35-minute inbound delay erases the published margin

This is a one-variable sensitivity table: it holds the onward departure at its published time. Do not assume before purchase that the onward flight will also be late; airlines may recover or change timings, and only the live airline decision governs. PEK says international gates normally close 15–20 minutes before departure. Do not subtract that time again from the airport's own connection standard, but do treat the 35-minute difference as disruption margin—not shopping or lounge time.
Five facts must close before the cheap fare is usable

Use the operating airline's official support shown on the offer or ticket. If you need its contact route, use PEK's airline directory and select the airline name or code; its general terminal listing cannot confirm a March 2027 flight. For a Mytrip offer, open Mytrip Support. The support page requires JavaScript; after booking, the confirmation email or My Bookings contains the order's contact details. If you cannot obtain the five answers before payment, reject the 105-minute option and choose a longer connection the airline accepts.
Copy this message into that private support channel with the exact travel date, flight numbers and proposed fare. This site does not collect the answer. Do not post an e-ticket, bag tag, order number, passport or boarding pass publicly.
Before I pay, please confirm in writing for my exact date and two flight numbers: Is this a protected connection rather than Self-Transfer? Do the ticket-issuing and operating airlines accept this 105-minute flight pair and its minimum connection time? Are both flights in PEK T3? Will checked bags go to the final destination? Where will I receive the onward boarding pass, is transfer handling available, and what are the check-in and gate cutoffs? If the inbound flight is late, who handles rebooking, what costs or conditions apply, and which support route must I use?
Mytrip Self-Transfer changes the answer to no
Mytrip says Self-Transfer means separate tickets: collect checked baggage, leave the transit zone, check in again and pass security again; entry permission may be required. Its guarantee also has conditions and exclusions, including prior contact, force majeure, traveller error and “No Checked-Bag” itineraries used with checked baggage.
Decision: do not use 105 minutes for a PEK Self-Transfer. The airport's same-terminal non-through-baggage standards are 130 minutes in T2 and 140 in T3; cross-terminal without through baggage is 200 minutes.
Use the protected transfer without wandering into the wrong branch

Airside international transfer and a branch that requires baggage claim or a fresh departure are not the same immigration problem. Do not assume visa-free entry from the words “international connection”; verify entry eligibility before accepting any itinerary that may force you out of transit.
If the first flight is late, protect the record before improvising
- Before departure, ask the origin airline desk to protect the onward segment when the delay is already known.
- At PEK, show the onward flight and boarding cutoff to transfer staff immediately. If it has departed, ask the airline's transfer desk for the next handling step; do not run to an unrelated departure counter.
- Ask the ticket-issuing or operating carrier for a written rebooking decision, costs, next flight and baggage handling. Protection does not let this page promise a free replacement, hotel or refund.
- If an agent sold a Self-Transfer Guarantee, use the order's support details immediately and obtain its instruction before independently changing the booking or buying a replacement. Keep the order number, delay notice, response and receipts private.
- Do not leave the transit area merely to find a public ticket desk until staff confirms baggage, document and entry consequences. If nobody confirms a workable route, remain with transfer staff and ask them to contact the responsible airline.
Reject the fare unless all five boxes close
- The offered connection is not Self-Transfer.
- The airlines accept this exact 105-minute protected flight pair, including their required minimum, and identify the late-arrival remedy and costs.
- Checked baggage is confirmed through to the final destination; hand luggage alone does not prove the transfer branch.
- The exact date and flight numbers confirm T3 to T3. For T2 to T2, choose longer.
- The onward boarding-pass route, available transfer handling and applicable cutoffs are confirmed.
Any missing answer means do not pay for this option. Choose a longer protected connection accepted for the exact itinerary; this page does not invent a universal replacement time.
PEK connection questions
Is 1 hour 45 minutes enough for an international connection at PEK?
Only conditionally for confirmed T3 to T3, through baggage and an airline-accepted protected flight pair. The 70-minute airport standard leaves 35 minutes, but any stricter airline minimum still governs. T2 to T2 leaves just five minutes: choose longer. Cross-terminal and non-through-baggage branches exceed 105 minutes. If any condition is unconfirmed, do not buy.
Does booking both flights on Mytrip make them one protected ticket?
No. One checkout or order number is not proof. Mytrip explicitly sells Self-Transfer products made from separate tickets. Check the product label and e-ticket, then ask the validating airline to confirm the accepted connection, baggage route and missed-connection remedy.
What happens during an international-to-international PEK transfer?
For the confirmed airside branch, follow International Transfer / HK / Macao signs and complete transfer checks. Confirm before payment where the onward boarding pass is issued and whether the exact flights have transfer handling. The airport warns that some flight transfers may not be handled; a failed branch can require baggage claim and fresh international departure. Ask transfer staff before leaving transit.
Do I need a Chinese visa for the connection?
Do not decide from the word connection alone. A protected airside international transfer and a Self-Transfer that requires leaving the transit zone are different branches. Confirm entry eligibility before buying any itinerary that may require baggage claim, terminal transfer or a fresh check-in.
Sources, dates and limits
The airport timing table and Mytrip Self-Transfer/baggage pages were read on 7 September 2026. The transfer-process description uses the airport's saved 6 September page; original 25 August observations remain historical. This checks the stated rules, not a booking or a support response. Flight numbers, terminals, schedules, baggage acceptance, fare construction and agent terms can change; confirm the exact itinerary before payment and after any schedule change. March 2027 flight details remain unknown. No representative PEK transfer was field-tested for this page.
